Palms Denarau at the Fijian Tourism Expo

Tourism has always been Fiji’s driving force to the world beyond our shores, and the Fijian Tourism Expo is one such avenue that showcases Fiji on the centre stage. Having been an annual event for just a few years, it has proven to be a successful exhibition for local tourism operators to display their products to international participants.

Hosted by Tourism Fiji, the three day spectacle held on Denarau Island mid-June 2015, drew hundreds of visitors and The Palms took advantage of this function to launch itself into the marketplace. We sought the assistance of Webmedia Fiji Ltd.to provide the sales and marketing presentation needed to set us on course for the spotlight.

Our General Manager, Ogina Lata, was on hand to introduce The Palms to interested guests and the attention received was rewarding. We look forward to taking part in future expos and invite visitors to experience the uncommon element.

Hard Rock Cafe, Rockin’ the Denarau Nightlife

You’ve done the shopping, gone on that awesome cruise and had that delicious meal, now what? Port Denarau seems to have it all… but even with all these, something is still missing. Well, now you have even more reason to stay out past your bedtime.

Hard Rock Cafe Fiji has now introduced ‘Insanium Nights’, where you don’t have to worry about travelling into town in search of a party vibe. Every weekend beginning from Thursday 8pm, visitors at Port Denarau will be able to experience a ‘wilder’ side of life.

In an already safe and relaxed environment, locals and tourists alike can expect to boogie the night away with the latest tunes and beats. Hard Rock Cafe just brought life back to the Port when the sun goes down… and it’s just irresistible.

The Palms Denarau Soft Opening

In late November 2015, The Palms held a soft opening to the public after much anticipation. The Puja (veneration) which is a prayer ritual ceremonywas performed in front of staff and guests to celebrate the completion of the 15-month project totalling at $28 million.

The Palms was envisioned to help further boost the already iconic Denarau Island, provide employment opportunities and offer a more luxurious choice in accommodation for seeking travellers.

Located just across from Port Denarau, these executive apartments are in central position to accessing a variety of resources from dining to shopping and activities. A grand opening is expected in 2016 once all things have been finalised.
